If you want to take your Monday back, finish the evening with Doris and extended hh hours on monday. This HH menu cannot be beat! We indulged in a burger, tomato salad, octopus skewer, tuna tartare. We opted to finish the meal with a bread basket instead of dessert to complement our happy hour wine. All of the options were great! I would say you can't go wrong with a thing on the menu! Service was also quite lovely! HH seating is only in the bar area . Mondays 5-9, tues-sat 5-7. Reservations recommended during peak hours. Complimentary valet available.

This is my 4th time to Doris and it will never be my last. I realized that I don't know how to cook after eating here it's sooooo good. Always will hype up the service because they are all phenomenal and attentive. Just Get It - the complimentary bread - the octopus - any of the steaks - the giant prawns - the rigatoni - truffle fries - the chocolate bond dessert or the brulee with fruit on it ... I can't say enough good things about this place. Enjoy!

This restaurant exudes class and elegance, making it an ideal spot for a date or business meeting. My friends and I recently celebrated a promotion here, and the experience was exceptional. The ambiance is both beautiful and sophisticated. The hostess was incredibly accommodating, especially when we needed a larger table, and she quickly arranged everything for our group. Once seated, we received top-notch service. Our server was knowledgeable and offered excellent food recommendations. We started with the cheese board and octopus appetizer, which were both fantastic choices that we thoroughly enjoyed. For the main course, we opted for the Tomahawk steak and lamb chops, accompanied by mushrooms and truffle fries. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The drinks were also unique and well-crafted. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars was due to an unpleasant encounter with the valet employee. When I expressed my preference to park my car myself, he insisted that valet was mandatory and responded with a less-than-pleasant attitude. It's worth noting that the valet service is complimentary. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience was excellent!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town, and I've been here multiple times, but this was the first time for happy hour! Their food and drinks are undoubtedly always delicious. Their service is always top-notch. Happy hour is as can be seen on the menu, and it's only served at the bar! So don't sit down at a table if you want a happy hour menu. It's still on the expensive side, but if you consider their normal prices, this is a pretty good deal.

Absolutely fantastic! This place is such a vibe. I enjoyed Rico's and Rachel's service at the bar. They truly made date night an unforgettable experience!! I ordered the Ribeye and Root Puree (I also ordered the Beetroot but ate it before I could snap a pic). The ribeye was everything!!!!! So juicy and cooked to perfection, and the root puree did not miss. My date had the tenderloin with bone marrow, and claimed this was probably the best steak he's had. Everything is great. Celebrating my anniversary at this spot was a delightful experience! Despite the bustling Thursday night crowd, we were glad to tick this place off our list. Make sure to secure a reservation, as the small valet-only parking lot fills up quickly. While the service could use a bit more attentiveness, the delectable dishes compensated for it. The standout was the Octopus - an unexpectedly delightful surprise. The Seared Scallops were a solid starter, akin to what you'd find elsewhere. The Bone-in Rib Eye & Rib Eye Steak were tasty, though I'd recommend specifying medium for a perfect cook. The Chocolate in Bond dessert, unfortunately, didn't leave a lasting impression. Even though we spent over $300, the overall experience justified the cost. I highly recommend this place, especially for special occasions!

Doris Metropolitan offers fine dining that in my opinion aligns with the prices you'll pay for the experience. Upon arrival, the first impression of the exterior is simple with limited parking so expect to get lucky with street parking or take the easy route and use the valet service. Their interior is classy and dimly lit with appreciated spacing between tables so you will feel comfortable even with a packed restaurant. The staff is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable of all menu items, so engage them. I started with incredible cocktails from their specialty beverage list which were prepared by experts behind the bar. Don't just do your usual be daring and try one! My meal started with the Jerusalem Salad which was remarkable. They offer complimentary bread and oil that you'll love and likely eat too much. It's a steakhouse so I went all in on my favorite, a big juicy ribeye. The steak was cooked perfectly to my requested temperature and well seasoned to not to overpower the meat. Doris Metropolitan feels like a great idea for special occasion dining but I recommend more frequent "let's treat ourselves" visits.
